Hi my name is Nikolina
I’m a wanderer at heart with a suitcase that’s never quite unpacked and a love for discovering the stories tucked inside every new place. Whether I’m wandering through a colourful market or soaking up the stillness of a seaside village, I try to carry a little piece of each adventure home with me. Those moments big and small shape the way I live, create, and design my space.
Travel isn’t just something I do it’s part of who I am. I’m endlessly inspired by different cultures, local artistry, and the small, unexpected moments that make a journey unforgettable. And, if I’m being honest… by the cats. Every destination seems to come with at least one furry friend I’m absolutely convinced I need to take home with me. (Thankfully, my husband is there to stop me, though between us, I think he knows it’s only a matter of time. )
When I’m not wandering somewhere new, you can usually find me surrounded by my growing collection of plants. I used to be the person who couldn’t keep even the toughest little plants alive, quite ironic considering my mum has the greenest thumb and the most beautiful garden you could imagine. But thanks to a friend who gifted me a set of ‘unkillable’ plants, I’ve become a full on plant lover. Now, nurturing them feels like a small, grounding ritual that balances all the chaos and colour of travel.
Over time, my home has transformed into an eclectic scrapbook of the places I’ve explored, the cultures that have inspired me, the memories I treasure, and the little pieces of joy I’ve collected whether that’s a patterned textile from a far-flung market, a handcrafted trinket from a hidden café, or a leafy new addition to my plant corner.

Building My First Website
Starting From Scratch
As a complete beginner and first-time website creator, starting this journey felt both exciting and overwhelming. With little prior experience, I spent time exploring and reviewing several website providers to understand which platforms are truly beginner-friendly and worth the investment.
Learning the basics of design, layout, and functionality along the way has been a valuable process, and comparing different providers helped me see the strengths and limitations of each.
This has been a fun and exciting new journey, and I’m excited to share the website-building lessons I’ve learned along the way with you.
